Duncan has more than 20 years of experience with new ventures and alliances across a wide range of broadband technologies: networks (DSL, satellite); services (VOD, music, mobile connectivity); and enabling technologies (DRM, WiFi). He joined the Firm in 2003 and is currently engaged with portfolio companies in the digital media sector. Prior to VantagePoint, he was a founder and senior executive at several prominent start-ups including SkyPilot Networks where he was Founder, CEO and Chairman; Covad Networks where he was Founder and served as Chairman through the early stages of that company's development; and InterTrust where, as Senior Vice President of Business Development, he led the company through its IPO. Before joining InterTrust, Duncan was Managing Partner of Gemini McKenna. He is a graduate of Brown University in Physics-Mathematics (BS) and the University of Michigan Law School (JD).
